Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Glendale, AZ seeks an experienced Controls Engineer to provide on-site automation support for high-speed beverage lines. You will diagnose PLC/HMI issues, program ladder logic, and lead controls improvements with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.

This salaried role requires 4+ years in industrial automation, strong Allen-Bradley skills, and the ability to work a 12-hour 2-2-3 day rotation. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

Hands-on PLC programming on high-speed production lines.
Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix.
Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
Experience with FactoryTalk or similar HMIs.

Responsibilities

Serve as on-shift controls expert, troubleshooting Tier 1/2 issues.
Develop PLC and HMI programs and changes to improve uptime.
Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
Support commissioning, upgrades, and system integrations.
Maintain documentation, backups, and change records.
