Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Controls Engineer to support a Glendale, AZ beverage manufacturing plant on a 2-2-3 day rotation (6:00 AM–6:00 PM). You will be the on-site controls expert, writing and debugging ladder logic for Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI interfaces while collaborating with operations and maintenance.

This salaried role requires 4+ years in high-speed manufacturing automation, strong PLC and HMI troubleshooting, and the ability to lead control-project upgrades.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PLC programming on high-speed production lines.
• 4+ years in industrial automation or controls.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Experience with AB Studio 5000 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift controls expert for packaging equipment.
• Provide Tier 1/2 troubleshooting for PLCs, HMIs, and networks.
• Develop and implement control-system improvements and changes.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
