Job summary
Electrical Automation Services is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for a Glendale, AZ facility to support high-speed beverage packaging operations. The role is on-site, full-time, with relocation assistance and a 12-hour 2-2-3 day rotation from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
You will program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI systems, and motion control on running lines, mentoring technicians and coordinating with operations and maintenance to improve safety and throughput.
Qualifications
- 4+ years in industrial automation on high-speed production lines.
- Ability to write and modify ladder logic in Studio 5000.
- Experience reading electrical schematics and control drawings.
Responsibilities
- Serve as on-shift controls expert for automation equipment across production lines.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and motion hardware.
- Develop and execute control projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
- Maintain documentation, backups, and change records for controls systems.
- Mentor maintenance technicians and operators on controls practices.
