Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Controls Engineer to support on-site automation at our Glendale, AZ facility. The role focuses on high-speed beverage/process lines, writing and modifying ladder logic, and collaborating with operations and maintenance to improve throughput.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial automation or controls experience on high-speed production lines.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Excellent cross-functional communication in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-shift controls expert; provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues and restore production safely.
• Identify recurring equipment problems and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators; maintain documentation and backups.
