Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to support high-speed beverage production lines on-site in Glendale, AZ. You will be the on-shift expert for automation, troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and networks while mentoring maintenance staff.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial automation, Allen-Bradley PLC experience, and a willingness to rotate 12-hour days in a fast-paced plant environment. Relocation assistance is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial automation experience on high-speed production lines.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix.
• Willingness to work 12-hour 2-2-3 day rotation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for packaging equipment.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety and throughput.
• Maintain PLC and HMI backups and change records.
• Support commissioning, upgrades, and system integration.
