Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer for an on-site, Glendale, AZ role on a 2-2-3 12-hour day rotation. You will program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs on beverage packaging lines, mentor technicians, and drive automation improvements across the plant.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial automation, strong PLC/HMI/VFD skills, and the ability to read schematics. Relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering technology or related field.
4+ years of industrial automation experience on high-speed manufacturing lines.
Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting capabilities; ability to read electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert for packaging equipment.
Diagnose PLC, HMI, and network issues and implement corrective actions.
Lead automation projects to improve safety, quality, reliability and throughput.
Mentor maintenance technicians and operators in controls practices.
