Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Abilene, TX to support on-site maintenance for multifamily communities. You will perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision, including make-ready tasks and safety compliance.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA standards. On-call shifts and strong teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community maintenance and make-ready tasks for common areas, buildings and units.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs and safety standards.
• Conduct swimming pool maintenance and keep chemical logs accurate.
• Prepare and inspect units during make-readies and inspections.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with inventory management and safety programs.
