Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a range of tasks including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance across properties. The role supports make-ready activities under supervision and requires prompt response to resident and management requests.

The position emphasizes maintaining safety, daily inspections, and adherence to OSHA and Fair Housing standards, with on-call responsibilities and a focus on customer service and property upkeep.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and on-site software familiarity.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance: corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks.
• Assist with make-ready process under supervision.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas daily for hazards.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend life of community.
• Follow safety standards and OSHA guidelines in all tasks.
• Support on-call emergencies and after-hours issues.
• Keep records of service requests, maintenance, and inspections.
