Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician for Alexan Overlook in Charlotte, NC. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain building systems, perform make-readies for vacant units, and ensure safety and cleanliness across common areas.

On-call rotation and required EPA refrigerant certifications help support a high standard of property operations. The role requires the ability to handle tools, lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, and work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recycling certification is required.
• All state and local certifications must be valid.
• A valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building systems and equipment per work orders.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units and perform pre-move inspections.
• Track inventory and requisition materials; use tools safely and report needs to supervisor.
• Document all service activities accurately and timely.
• Assist in grounds, common areas, and amenities maintenance as needed.
• Attend safety meetings and follow OSHA and internal safety policies.
