Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of The Rowe at Commonwealth in Charlotte, NC. You will perform work orders, preventive maintenance, and make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes for leasing while ensuring safety and quality.

This on-site role requires flexible hours with on-call rotation, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver's license. Competitive benefits, opportunities for growth, and a comprehensive safety program are provided.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• State and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventive maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Executes the make-ready process for vacant units and inspects work.
• Manages materials, supplies, and inventory; coordinates with maintenance supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking and records.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and minor painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
