Job summary

KNAPP in Bernville, PA is seeking a Resident Maintenance Technician to support automated storage and retrieval systems and precision automation equipment at the Customer’s site. You will apply industrial electrical/mechanical expertise and collaborate with a team to maximize equipment uptime and performance.

The role requires hands-on repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance, with strong safety awareness and clear reports.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years direct experience preferred.
• Experience repairing electro-mechanical machinery and control systems.
• Theoretical and operational knowledge of PLC-based machinery and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide specialist maintenance support.
• Respond to emergency customer calls and ensure safety in all activities.
• Calibrate precision automation equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Install, service and test conveyor and automation systems.
• Train customer maintenance teams and document repairs and reports.
