Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a Resident Maintenance Technician to provide first-class maintenance support for automated storage and retrieval systems at the Customer location. You will apply electrical and mechanical expertise to maximize equipment uptime and performance.

The role requires troubleshooting of electro-mechanical faults, calibration of precision automation equipment, and collaboration with the Customer's team to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; focus in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation preferred.
• 0–3 years direct maintenance experience on industrial machinery.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems; familiarity with 480V, 240V, 120V, 48VDC, 24VDC and PLCs (Siemens preferred).

Responsibilities

• Rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide specialist maintenance.
• Respond to emergency customer calls and perform repairs.
• Ensure safety procedures and proper documentation.
• Set up, calibrate, and test precision automation equipment.
• Train customer maintenance teams as required.
• Interact with on-site management and keep them informed.
