Job summary

Upfrnt USA Inc in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Tech to keep a resident community running. You will live on site, carry the emergency phone, and manage repairs, preventive maintenance, and contractor work to keep homes ready for new residents.

You will balance hands‑on maintenance with resident interaction, ensuring safety and cleanliness while supporting the community’s day‑to‑day needs.

Qualifications

Several years of hands‑on maintenance across more than one trade in occupied buildings.
Genuine diagnostic ability and good problem‑solving skills.
Sound judgment to know what you should not attempt.
Good with residents in their homes and able to explain technical issues.
Ability to document work and use software systems.
Comfortable working with contractors and coordinating repairs.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to live on site.

Responsibilities

Take work orders, prioritize by urgency, schedule, and perform repairs.
Hands‑on work across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry and related trades.
Diagnose root causes and write clear service notes.
Coordinate with licensed contractors where required.
Record every job in Upfrnt OS and communicate status to the team.
Run preventive maintenance and follow the calendar.
Prepare homes between residents and ensure quality handover.
Brief contractors, enforce schedules, and inspect completed work.
Uphold safety standards and respond to emergencies after hours.
