Job summary

Upfrnt USA Inc is seeking a Maintenance Tech to keep a 300-home community running. You will live on-site in a subsidized apartment and carry the community's emergency phone, participating in repairs, preventive maintenance, and resident-ready turnovers.

You will supervise contractors, uphold safety standards, and document every job. This role requires empathy, meticulous note-taking, and the ability to respond quickly to after-hours situations.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on maintenance across more than one trade.
• Genuine diagnostic ability.
• Comfortable living on-site and interacting with residents in their homes.
• Ability to manage contractors and direct work without direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Take work orders, prioritize by urgency, schedule, and perform repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry and related systems.
• Inspect homes between residents and ensure they are finished to standard.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure they meet agreed scopes, timetables, and quality.
• Carry life-safety duties: detectors, exits, and emergency readiness; respond after hours.
• Document all work in the system and communicate clearly with residents and management.
