Job summary

Upfrnt USA Inc is seeking a Maintenance Tech to keep our apartment community running smoothly. You will reside on-site in subsidized housing, manage repairs, preventive maintenance, and coordination with contractors, while handling after-hours emergencies and maintaining the resident experience.

Reports to the Asset Protection & Resident Experience Manager. About 300 homes. On-site, Texas locations. This role carries on-call responsibilities and a dedicated housing arrangement.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on maintenance across more than one trade.
• Genuine diagnostic ability and good people skills when working in residents' homes.
• Willing to use software and document work.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry and related trades.
• Schedule and manage work orders; coordinate with contractors.
• Conduct preventive maintenance per community standards.
• Prepare homes between residents and ensure quality handover.
• Oversee safety and emergencies, carry the emergency phone.
• Record all work and communicate with the on-site manager.
