Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support maintenance operations across properties. You will assist with daily maintenance tasks, ensure common areas are clean and safe, and respond to work orders from residents with a focus on timely service and great customer care.

The role requires high school diploma, basic computer skills, and knowledge of safety standards (OSHA) and housing regulations. On-site work, occasional on-call duties, and a strong team spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of grounds, buildings, and common areas to keep the property in good condition.
• Respond to resident management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor with preventive maintenance activities and safety practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and ensure tools and supplies are stocked.
• Participate in on-call emergency coverage and respond promptly to incidents.
