Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Porter to support maintenance and make-ready tasks across the property. The role requires daily on-site presence and a focus on cleaning, grounds, and basic repairs under supervision.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, maintaining safety standards, and assisting the Maintenance Supervisor to keep the community in top condition. Excellent customer service and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds, buildings, and common areas daily.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Ensure repairs and replacements for grounds, buildings, and common areas are completed timely.
• Inspect facilities daily to identify hazards and address liabilities.
• Assist in preventative maintenance to extend asset life and reduce future repairs.
• Follow Asset Living key policy and maintain an organized, stocked maintenance shop.
• Support Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager; participate in on-call emergencies.
• Provide safe, courteous customer service and maintain a positive image of the community.
