You will interpret prescriptions, enter data into the EHR, coordinate with technicians and doctors, and maintain knowledge of insurance benefits. The role emphasizes quality service, patient satisfaction, and daily teamwork on-site.

Qualifications

• State Licensure required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE certification preferred.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.
• PC skills (MS Office, Windows).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary patient experience with complete product/service recommendations.
• Establishes rapport by asking lifestyle questions to identify visual needs and recommend frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Keeps current on products, procedures, rebates, and lens/frame options.
• Handles patient calls and updates on order status; escalates issues when needed.
• Educates patients on eyeglass/contact lens care and warranty options.
• Interprets prescriptions and enters data into the EHR accurately.
• Ensures prescriptions are fulfilled and orders meet time guidelines.
