Job summary

AEG is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care in a fast-paced on-site setting. You will assist patients with frame and lens selections, ensure correct measurements, and dispense lenses while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, entering data into the EHR, and guiding patients through insurance and warranty options. Emphasis on accuracy, quality, and patient satisfaction in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills to include MS Office, Windows, and Word Processing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent customer service skills and pleasant demeanor; sales experience a plus.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and treatments based on prescription and lifestyle.
• Interpret prescriptions and enter data into the EHR/ALE systems.
• Explain insurance, warranties, and product options to patients.
• Keep up-to-date on products, rebates, lenses, and frames.
