Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Licensed Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients with frames, lenses, and coatings, confirm prescription accuracy, and ensure proper lens dispensing while delivering an outstanding patient experience.

You will also interpret prescriptions, manage orders in the EHR/ALE system, coordinate with technicians, and educate patients on insurance coverage and care plans.

Qualifications

• State licensure required.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an extraordinary patient experience with tailored eyewear recommendations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Enter prescription data into the EHR/ALE system and ensure proper documentation.
• Communicate with technicians and managers to track orders and resolve issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the display and work areas.
• Provide education on eyewear care, insurance coverage, and warranty options.
