Job summary

Wolfoods, a premier camp dining provider, seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our on-site summer camp facilities. You will oversee all prep and production for a designated day part, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety across the operation.

This is a live-in, on-site position in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, requiring a minimum 6-day/70-hour work week and the ability to thrive under pressure while delivering high-quality meals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in commercial kitchen leadership with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, cooking, and allergen safety skills.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Manage operational flow, portions, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Enforce allergy protocols and sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Liaise between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
