Wolfoods is seeking an experienced, high-energy Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at rural summer camp facilities across the country. This on-site, live-in position requires overseeing prep and production for a designated day part, managing staff, and maintaining allergen safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead a dynamic team, ensure quality, and uphold health standards while thriving under the demanding 6-day/70-hour week schedule and on-site living conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee all prep and production for designated day part; ensure timely meal service.
• Maintain strict allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as a liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
