Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp locations. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and enforce allergen safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

This on-site, live-in position requires a demanding 6-day/70-hour week and offers competitive pay, a performance bonus, and room and board for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day parts; ensure timely service.
• Maintain allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.).
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting and budgeting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
