Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership position at our on-site summer camp facilities. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day part, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

This seasonal contract runs May through Sept, with a minimum 6-day, 70-hour week, competitive pay, bonus potential, and full room and board.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership and kitchen oversight abilities.
• Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in hot/cold kitchen environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part and ensure timely meal service.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and sanitation standards.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
