Job summary

VOALA is seeking a Lead Case Manager in Santa Ana to coordinate and mentor a field-based team delivering housing stability and support services. The role blends administrative duties with outreach and on-site client engagement to ensure timely service delivery.

The position requires leadership, case-management expertise, and strong collaboration with programs supporting veterans, families, and homeless services. On-site work and community outreach are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• Fingerprint clearance and background checks required.
• Verification of educational degrees and previous employment.
• TB testing within five days of employment start date.
• Experience supervising or leading a case management team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign and monitor team caseloads, reviewing plans of action to meet client goals.
• Review referrals and screenings of potential clients for intake and eligibility.
• Coordinate assessments and develop housing stability plans with clients.
• Provide information and referrals for community resources and services.
• Conduct home and field visits as needed to support clients.
• Lead weekly case conferencing and monthly file audits to ensure accuracy.
