Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Case Manager II to mentor the case management team and coordinate services for clients on-site in Los Angeles. The role involves assessing needs, developing service plans, and ensuring timely follow-up.

The position combines administrative duties with field outreach, requiring strong leadership, supervision, and collaboration with partners to support veterans and families in need.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the social sciences or family therapy.
• Two years of demonstrated case management experience.
• Fingerprint clearance and background check requirements, TB screening and immunization records.
• Current BLS Certification (within 15 days of hire).
• Completion of required trainings within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive screenings and assessments to collect client information and develop a case plan.
• Develops support systems and coordinates service referrals and move-in activities.
• May conduct home and field visits and supervise case managers.
• Monitors quality and effectiveness of services; conducts file reviews and audits.
• Participates in outreach events and workshops; ensures documentation is complete.
