Job summary

Volunteers of America Greater Los Angeles is seeking a Lead Job Developer/Case Manager to coordinate a Veteran Housing and Reintegration program. You will mentor staff, assess client needs, develop employment and service plans, and partner with employers to place veterans in jobs and training opportunities.

This on-site role emphasizes outreach, collaboration with public agencies, and ensuring compliance in service delivery while supporting veterans toward self-sufficiency and stable employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience (4 years) in employment placement and vocational counseling activities.
• 2 years of experience in case management or as a job developer.
• 2 years of experience working with a homeless population/clientele.
• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assign and monitor case load of Job Development teams.
• Review referrals and screenings of Veterans and coordinate intake.
• Provide career counseling and job coaching for participants.
• Develop relationships with local employers and training resources.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely reporting to funders.
