Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide end-user tech support and maintain IT infrastructure at our Salt Lake City facility. The role is fully on-site, Monday–Friday, with responsibilities spanning hardware/software installation, documentation, and asset management.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of IT support experience, proficiency in Windows, macOS, Linux, AD/Entra/Intune, and strong communication skills. U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in installing, troubleshooting, and/or maintaining software and hardware.
• Proficient in Windows and iOS environments.
• Experience with Layer 1 Networking and Cabling.
• Experience installing/uninstalling and licensing enterprise software.
• Highly proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Intune.
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
• U.S. Citizen due to government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Respond to Help Desk IT tickets promptly.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Develop and maintain IT infrastructure documentation.
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding with HR and Facilities.
• Configure and deploy Windows, Linux, macOS endpoints and peripherals.
• Perform related duties as needed.
