Job summary

Silvus Technologies, part of Motorola Solutions, seeks an IT Support Specialist for hands-on technical support and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure at the Culver City site.

The role requires Windows, Linux, and macOS troubleshooting, plus experience with Active Directory, Entra, Intune, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. It is an onsite position with occasional travel and background checks for U.S. government-related work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• “3+ years of experience in installing, troubleshooting, and/or maintaining software and hardware installations, upgrades, and related procedures.”
• Proficient PC skills in a Windows and IOS environment required.
• Experience with Layer 1 Networking and Cabling.
• Experience installing/uninstalling and licensing/de-licensing enterprise software.
• Highly proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Intune.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• U.S. Citizen due to government contract work; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktop, laptop, and peripherals.
• Respond to Help Desk tickets in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to IT infrastructure and support processes.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding with HR and Facilities.
• Configure and deploy systems for Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoints.
