Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks an Information Technology Support Specialist to provide hands-on IT support to end users and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure. This on-site role is based at the Salt Lake City facility and involves resolving hardware and software issues, managing accounts, and contributing to IT documentation.

Applicants should have 3+ years of relevant IT experience, strong Windows/macOS proficiency, and familiarity with Active Directory,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in installing, troubleshooting, and/or maintaining software/hardware.
• Proficient in Windows and macOS environments.
• Experience with Layer 1 Networking and cabling.
• Experience installing/licensing enterprise software.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra, and Intune.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• U.S. Citizen due to government contracts.
• Background check and drug test clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical end-user support for desktop and laptop hardware/software.
• Respond to Help Desk IT tickets promptly.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Document IT infrastructure and support processes.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Onboard/offboard employees with account creation and device deployment.
• Configure and deploy Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoints.
• Perform related duties as needed.
