Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist to provide end-user tech support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure. The role reports to the Senior IT Support Lead and is 100% onsite at Silvus Technologies’ West Los Angeles, CA headquarters.

The position involves installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software, onboarding/offboarding with HR/Facilities, and documenting IT processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining software and hardware.
• Proficient in Windows and macOS environments.
• Experience with Layer 1 Networking and Cabling.
• Experience installing/uninstalling and licensing enterprise software.
• Google Suite and Microsoft 365 proficiency.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Intune.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government contracts.
• Background check and drug test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktop or laptop systems.
• Respond to Help Desk IT support tickets in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to IT infrastructure and support processes.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all hardware and software assets.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding functions with HR and Facilities.
• System configuration and deployment for Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoints.
• Coordinate with MSI team for procurement and provisioning of hardware for domestic and international hires.
