Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates seeks two Junior Technology Support Analysts to join our Washington, DC office on-site. The role provides hands-on tech support for hardware, software, Citrix, audio-visual, and security systems, with a focus on delivering high-level customer service.

The position requires maintaining security practices, logging calls, and collaborating with central resources in White Plains.

Qualifications

• Ability to administer Firm policies and procedures with regard to ordering and configuring hardware
• Thorough working knowledge of computer, printer and scanner hardware
• Knowledge of relevant Firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrates close attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
• Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in a demanding environment
• Flexibility to travel and adjust hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Assembles, installs, configures, tests, images, troubleshoots and repairs hardware and peripherals.
• Responds to local and central helpline, support tickets and e-mails with information and assistance.
• Logs calls into the Firm’s systems and resolves or escalates as appropriate.
• Provides application support for local installations and Citrix based applications.
• Provides laptop/desktop and mobile device support and end user training.
• Assists with audio visual setup requirements and conference room tech.
• Maintains Firm policies and procedures relating to technology.
• Ensures security of Firm systems and follows best practices.
• Maintains hands-on support in-office to address issues.
