Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience, or 2-year degree with 4+ years experience.
• Experience providing on-site tech consultation across IT hardware, software, and networks.
• Ability to assess risks and recommend reliable IT solutions for manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Strong communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with users to understand technology needs and required tools.
• Identify hardware, software, and tech solutions to support operations.
• Evaluate risks and propose solutions to reduce disruption and improve reliability.
• Guide business teams on technology decisions and solutions.
• Review current tech and propose improvements, standards, and long-term plans.
• Determine when to purchase, upgrade, replace, or retire technology.
• Compare options and recommend best-fit solutions for business needs.
• Lead tech-improvement efforts to reduce operational risk and improve efficiency.
• Analyze system performance, capacity, and root causes of tech issues.
• Recommend improvements to configurations and processes for security and reliability.
• Prioritize tech improvements to support operations and minimize disruption.
