Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an on-site technology consultant in Honolulu to deliver desktop and network support for a financial services network office. You will build trusted relationships, advise leadership, and drive adoption of sales-focused software while aligning solutions with business objectives.

You will train end users, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with vendors on upgrades and deployments to maximize client satisfaction and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience, including consultation experience.
• Experience coaching and training professionals on technology and best practices.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant technology support experience.
• Advanced knowledge of computer and mobile device hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with software support tools to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Strong desktop support skills with Level 2 troubleshooting in a corporate setting.
• Experience with Windows 10, imaging, and Office 365.
• Active Directory support experience including user access and permissions troubleshooting.
• Experience with network routing and Cisco switches.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology consultation and expertise to the network office to maximize value from investments.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with end users, financial advisors, and leadership.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to align technology solutions with priorities.
• Prioritize engagements with leadership to focus on high-impact initiatives.
• Ensure optimal configuration of desktop, network, and software technologies.
• Assist advisors in effectively using technology tools to improve productivity and sales.
• Develop understanding of insurance and investment sales cycles to integrate tech into processes.
• Communicate technology benefits clearly to diverse audiences.
• Provide advanced project consultation to enterprise partners on needs and upgrades.
• Manage escalations related to technology implementations and upgrades.
