Apex Systems in Honolulu, HI seeks a Technology Support Consultant for an on-site role embedded within network offices nationwide. This 6-month contract-to-hire position focuses on advancing advisors' sales effectiveness through technology solutions and tailored consulting to align digital strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience coaching professionals.
• Technology support experience preferred.
• Ability to understand sales-focused software technology and its benefits.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate groups.
• Default Minimum of 2 years related experience including consultation experience in financial services or similar industry.
• Advanced knowledge in computer hardware and software troubleshooting including proficiency with software support tools.
• Proven ability to consult and drive measurable improvements in an outcome-based model.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes extensive knowledge of computers, mobile devices, hardware, software configurations, OS, and LAN.
• Develop relationships with financial advisors, FA teams, and network office leadership.
• Assist advisors and teams in using technology tools effectively to enhance experiences and productivity.
• Understand insurance and investment sales cycles to integrate technology into business processes.
• Apply consulting strategies to communicate technology benefits clearly.
• Provide advanced project consultation and SME support for technology needs and upgrades.
• Collect feedback from advisors and relay to Home Office leadership to ensure solutions meet user needs.
• Manage escalations and project management of enterprise tech implementations and upgrades, including communication with leadership.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose simple tech applications to improve practices.
• Participate in planning sessions to achieve goals and learn strategic methods to boost productivity and client satisfaction.
• Assist in delivering training on tech best practices and facilitate classes to promote tool usage.
• Help prepare users for new tech deployments via training and communication of benefits.
• Handle vendor management of third-party tech solutions and implementations.
• Track engagement and attend training to expand knowledge and contribute to improvements.
• Maintain high proficiency in complex computer hardware and software via ongoing education and training.
