Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of related experience, or 2 years post-secondary with 4 years of related experience.
• Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Experience with ServiceNow, remote management tools, and monitoring software.
• Familiarity with ERP, MES, SCADA, and industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Work with users to understand their technology needs and determine required tools.
• Identify and recommend hardware, software, and technology solutions to support operations.
• Evaluate risks and propose solutions to reduce disruption and improve reliability.
• Provide guidance to manufacturing, engineering, and business teams on technology decisions.
• Review existing technology and propose improvements, standards, and long-term solutions.
• Lead technology improvements to reduce operational risk and improve performance.
• Analyze system performance, capacity needs, and root causes of issues.
