Job summary

M3 Technology Consultants in Fairfax, VA, seeks a Field Engineer with 2–4 years of IT support experience. The role covers on-site client support, network devices, desktops and servers, and remote assistance.

You will travel to multiple client sites and work in a fast-paced MSP environment to deliver reliable IT services. This position requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Windows and MacOS operating systems.
• Experience in IT support in MSP environments preferred.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and security software.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support at client locations.
• Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, servers, printers, and network devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, document activities, and maintain client communications.
• Assist with maintenance, upgrades, and migrations to optimize performance.
• Travel to client sites for regular on-site visits as needed.
