Job summary

Beyond IT Support is seeking an experienced MSP Desktop & Field Support Technician for our Florida office to deliver hands-on IT support to local customers.

You will resolve desktop and network issues, install equipment, travel locally as needed, and collaborate with our remote team while guiding two bench technicians onsite.

This hands-on customer-facing role requires 5+ years in desktop support, strong customer service, and the ability to explain technical information to nontechnical users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional IT desktop support experience.
• Strong Windows desktop and laptop troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and common business applications.
• Experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing computer equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and common business applications.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Set up new computers, user accounts, monitors, printers, and office equipment.
• Perform computer diagnostics, hardware upgrades, data transfers, malware removal, and equipment replacements.
• Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Visit customer locations when remote support is insufficient and collaborate with remote technicians.
