Job summary

Intermax Networks is seeking a Field Technician to deliver hands-on IT support for our managed service customers, both remotely and onsite. You will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network issues, install and deploy workstations, and coordinate with Help Desk and Systems Engineers.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in IT support, strong communication, and the ability to document work clearly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional IT support or desktop support.
• Strong Windows OS troubleshooting and admin experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Understanding of AD and user/device management.
• Good TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Willing to travel to customer locations.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to escalated IT issues from Help Desk and resolve onsite.
• Provide remote and onsite support for MSP customers.
• Diagnose hardware, OS, apps, authentication, and connectivity.
• Install, configure, deploy, replace workstations and equipment.
• Assist with workstation deployments and equipment changes.
• Perform onsite troubleshooting when remote help is insufficient.
• Document all troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Coordinate escalation to specialized resources as needed.
• Participate in projects and onboarding activities.
• Maintain professional, customer-focused service.
