Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Account Representative I to grow its book of business by converting competitors and expanding medium-sized accounts into large accounts. You will maintain customer satisfaction through regular contact and clear expectations, while delivering compelling sales presentations and tailored quotes.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 0–2 years of experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic and other industrial products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices.
• Ability to influence customers while maintaining relationships.
• Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Increase revenue by generating new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Generate new leads through networking, cold calling, and research.
• Interact face-to-face with customers to build strong relationships and maintain satisfaction.
• Understand customer requirements for customized quoting.
• Deliver effective sales presentations and ensure technical requirements are met.
• Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customer concerns.
• Coordinate with vendor resources to support sales.
