Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Account Representative I to grow the book of business by converting competitors’ customers and expanding medium-sized accounts to large ones. The role emphasizes building strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions.

You will gather customer requirements, present customized quotes, and work with internal teams to meet needs. Travel may be required; on-time communication and proactive follow-up are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree typically required with 0–2 years of experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to influence customers while maintaining relationships.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Increases revenue through new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Generates leads via networking, cold calling, and online research.
• Interacts with customers face-to-face to build relationships and maintain satisfaction.
• Interprets customer requirements for customized quotes.
• Delivers effective sales presentations and ensures technical requirements are met.
• Assists with on-site troubleshooting of customer concerns.
• Coordinates vendor resources to support sales.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
