Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver excellent customer experiences and maintain Canon-supported products in accordance with Service and Parts Standards. This is a full-time on-site role requiring travel and a valid driver’s license.

You will report field issues, perform on-site maintenance, and uphold thorough documentation. The position emphasizes customer communication and achieving branch targets, with a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and completion of the 120-day PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel with valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must obtain security/clearances required by customers to enter premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Show strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
• Support branch/district metric targets.
