Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team, delivering hands-on support for Canon imaging products across customer sites.

The role emphasizes problem solving, basic mechanical and software troubleshooting, and the ability to operate in a 24/7 shift environment. You will diagnose issues, service equipment to Canon standards, travel as needed, and maintain Field Service Reports and related documentation.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record).
• Capability to work in a 24/7 environment, while performing shift work and on-call rotations.
• Required to take steps to obtain security and/or other clearances to enter customers' premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge of multiple product groups and basic troubleshooting.
• Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate maintenance.
• Maintain technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
