Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking technicians to support operations, maintenance, and networking duties across field, shop, and on-site environments. The role emphasizes diagnosing and repairing Canon products, maintaining technical documentation, and guiding junior staff.

Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or GED with 1–2 years of related experience, basic IT knowledge, travel ability, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds. The advertised hourly rate ranges from $21.50 to $31.74.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and completion of 120-day intro period and PDIF new-hire class.
• Must be able to travel; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Must obtain security/clearances required by customers to enter premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.
• Role offers an hourly rate of $21.50 - $31.74.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups, including basic troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Meet and exceed customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians.
• Provide solutions of escalated technical and/or customer service-related problem areas for any territory requested.
