Job summary

Canon USA, a leader in digital imaging, seeks a field/service technician to diagnose and repair Canon equipment across multiple product groups. The role involves on-site maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and responsive service to meet customer demands.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, and the ability to travel, work 24/7 shifts, lift 50 lbs, and obtain required clearances.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; 1–2 years related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments; must complete 120-day PDIF class.
• Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel and work in a 24/7 environment with on-call rotations.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active >50% of the time.
• Must obtain security/clearances required by customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and basic diagnostics.
• Meet and exceed customer demands with efficient, responsive maintenance.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
