Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician II in Mechanicsburg, PA, to diagnose and repair Canon equipment with a focus on basic mechanical, software, and network issues. You will travel to customer sites, perform on-site and shop maintenance, and uphold Canon standards.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED with 1–2 years of related experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and readiness for 24/7 shift rotations. A valid driver’s license and necessary clearances are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to travel (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record).
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, performing shift work and on-call rotations.
• Must take steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups including basic troubleshooting concepts.
• Meet and exceed customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians and escalate technical issues when needed.
