Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver excellent customer experiences and elevate efficiency in routine maintenance of Canon-supported products on-site. You will report trends, perform on-site maintenance, and ensure accurate documentation while representing Canon with professionalism.

The role requires travel, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift 50 pounds; training includes the PDIF program, with a full-time on-site work model.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and completion of PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record).
• Must obtain security/other clearances required by customers to enter premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/on-site maintenance to meet customer demands.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain the performance of assigned machines and support branch targets.
