Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operating Engineer to support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. The role is on-site at Maitland, FL with a daytime schedule and rotating on-call requirements.

You will troubleshoot building systems and participate in training while delivering reliable maintenance services. Responsibilities include completing tasks such as painting, lighting, plumbing, and preventive maintenance, maintaining the work order system, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks such as painting, pressure washing, lighting maintenance, plumbing and HVAC.
• Maintain work order system (Prism) daily and complete tenant service requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Support on-call or emergency response situations.
• Troubleshoot building systems including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational trainings.
• Assist with other projects and tasks.
