Job summary

JLL in Dallas, TX is seeking an Operating Engineer to support operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. This on-site role follows a 7am–4pm M-F schedule.

You will perform tasks including painting, pressure washing, lighting maintenance, plumbing, HVAC work, water treatment, locksmith duties and general upkeep while maintaining safety standards. JLL offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for on-going training, with a focus on

Qualifications

3+ years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
Trade school education, union training, military service or college desirable.
Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance).
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).

Responsibilities

Complete assigned tasks including painting, pressure washing, lighting maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, locksmith work and general maintenance.
Maintain CMMS work order system daily and complete tenant service requests.
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
Support on-call or emergency response situations when applicable.
Troubleshoot building systems including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls.
Adhere to all safety procedures and participate in ongoing training.
