Job summary

JLL in Maitland, Florida, is seeking an experienced Operating Engineer to support operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. The role requires on-site presence and a 9am–6pm schedule with on-call rotation.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to tenant service requests, troubleshoot building systems, and participate in safety and training programs while upholding JLL's commitment to quality and service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
• Trade school education, union training, military service or college desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks including painting, pressure washing, lighting maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, and locksmith work.
• Maintain Prism work order system daily and respond to tenant service requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on building systems.
• Support on-call or emergency responses and troubleshoot electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in ongoing training.
